Special TestTests for...Positive (+) Test
Compression (Squeeze) fracture of the tibia and/or fibula pain elicited in the fibula and/or tibia around fracture site
Percussion (Bump) fractures (including stress) of the tibia pain elicited in the tibia around fracture site
Anterior Drawer (Clunk) ATF/CF laxity increased laxity and pain, palpable "clunk" under the ankle mortise
Kleiger's rotary damage to deltoid; sydesmosis laxity, medial/lateral pain over deltoid or sydesmosis
Talar Tilt (Inversion) damage to CF pain, increased laxity
Talar Tilt (Eversion) damage to deltoid pain, increased laxity
Thompson achilles tendon rupture/damage lack or decreased PF
Tinel's Sign nerve pathology of posterior tibial nerve @ posterior medial malleolus tingling, pain, parasthesia along nerve distribution
Homan's Sign Deep Vein Thrombosis/phlebitis (DVT) burning, aching, general pain within calf
