TermDefinition
Computer Network A computer network is a set of computers connected together for the purpose of sharing resources
Wide Area Network a computer network in which the computers connected may be far apart, generally having a radius of half a mile or more
Local Area Network a computer network that links devices within a building or group of adjacent buildings.
Cross Platform Connectivity a language, software application or hardware device that works on more than one system
Internet The global communication network that allows almost all computers worldwide to connect and exchange information
Interact act in such a way as to have an effect on another; act reciprocally
Peripherals Devices any auxiliary device such as a computer mouse or keyboard that connects to and works with the computer in some way
