what does the ADDIE Model for training stand for ? Assessment, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation
What are SMEs? Used in the Assessment part of ADDIE, Subject Matter Experts are employees expert on the tasks to be performed, the KSAs necessary to perform these tasks, the equipment to conduct the task, & the working conditions under which a task is performed.
What are several methods that might be used in needs assessment?(6) Observation, Interviews, Questionnaires, Focus Groups, Documentation, Online Technology
What are three levels at which assessments are conducted? Org Level (look at vision and future direction and determine the workforce needs), Task level (skills and knowledge necessary to do particular tasks are examined), person level (individual employees and how well they perform their jobs)
What is the assessment phase in ADDIE? Get the info necessary to make a decision regarding what training needs to be done and where. Designed to ensure that any training program meets a real need in the organization.
What is the Design phase in ADDIE? knowledge gathered from the needs analysis is translated into a blueprint for the training program. The blueprint consists of the goals, objectives, and evaluation tasks that must be developed, and how they are sequenced.
What are some of the Items created during the Design Phase? Support materials including manuals and handouts Project management plan with milestones and deadlines Evaluation materials, including tests, quizzes, and other formal evaluations
