6 RAD

TermDefinition
(RAD)Rapid Application Development Programmer designs and creates prototype and then shows the prototype to end user. End user will feedback on the features and suggest improvements. Cycle is repeated until final product is produced.
End user involvement in RAD Successive prototypes tested and evaluated with end user. Outcomes used to inform next prototype, until final product produced.
Advantages of RAD End user can see working prototype sooner, is involved in the design and can influence direction. Development time/cost reduced.
