What does the ADA cover? illegal for any firm with 25 (now 15) or more employees to discriminate in employment against a qualified person with a disability.
How is "disability" defined in the ADA (3 items)? a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities; or a record of such impairment; or being perceived as having such an impairment.
What does the ADA require employers to do? provide reasonable accommodation for qualified disabled workers.
What is "reasonable accommodations" under the ADA? Any change in the work environment or in the way that things are customarily done that enables a person with a disability to enjoy equal employment opportunities.
