Computer Basics IT and EDPM

TermDefinition
Computer An electronic device which accepts and processes data, outputs results and stores data for future use.
Hardware The physical parts of the computer.
Software Computer programs
Central Processing Unit This contains the CU and the ALU. It is the brain of the computer.
Control Unit Controls the operations of the CPU. It controls the flow of information to and from all components of the computer.
