Business Planning

business plan and cash flow forecasts

TermDefinition
Business Plan document which states current position of the business, identifies clear objectives and how they will be achieved
Elements of a business plan the business, key personnel, the product and production, marketing and sales, finance
Use of business plan to provide direction, to encourage investors and to obtain finance from banks or financial institutions
Fixed costs costs which do not change with volume of production e.g. rent
Variable costs costa which do change with amount produced e.g. raw materials
Cash Flow Forecast plan showing expected cash receipts and cash payments over a period of time. It shows if firm can pay bills, if there will be shortages or surpluses.
