Vocabulary and report study stuff.

| Software | A set of step-by-step instructions for the computer. |
| Input devices | These are used to give your computer information. |
| Peripheral | The name that is used for a piece of equipment, that works with the CPU. |
| Operating System | The program that manages the other programs on the computer. |
| Desktop | This is used to view information; screen. |
| Icons | These are picture symbols; short-cuts. |
| Point | Roll onto the surface. |
| Pointer | The arrow that shows where you are pointing. |
| Click | Press the left/right mouse button then let go. |
| Double-Click | Press the left/right mouse button twice quickly the let go quickly. |
| Drag | This is when you click, hold, then move your mouse. |
| Window | Shows the information that you are looking for. |
| Title bar | Shows the name of the program you are working on. |
| Scroll Bar | These are used to move up and down or side to side to see all the information on that page(s). |
| Menu Bar | These appear underneath the title bar; these give you options of want you want to do. |
| Tool Bar | These let you choose a command quickly. |
| Keyboard Shortcuts | These are used to open menus and execute commands quickly by using the keys. |
| Dialog box | This gives you a set up document. |
| Insertion Point | This is where you insert USB cord CDs' and other stuff like that. |
| Medium | This is a removable disk. |
| Default settings | These are the settings that are already set. |
