internal rhyme rhymes within lines
refrain a repeated word,phrase,line or group of lines in a poem or song or even a speech.
rhyme scheme the pattern of rhyming sounds at the end of lines in a poem.
alliteration repeating beginning consonant sounds
stanza in a poem, a group of lines that form a unit-similar to a paragraph.
simile comparison of 2 things using like or as.
metaphor comparison of 2 things without using like of as.
personification descibing non-human things giving those things human characteristics
onomatopoeia use of words that imitate the sounds they descirbe.
