| Harassment | Mean words that usually try to scare someone |
| Cyber stalking | Repeated bullying online that could be threatening |
| Denigration | To lower someone's self-esteem |
| Exclusion | Purposely leaving someone out in an activity |
| Trolling | intentionally provoking others online |
| Impersonation | pretending to be someone that you are not |
| Outing | Sharing someone’s personal information online |
| Trickery | Tricking someone into sharing personal information online |
| Instant Messaging | Real time messaging via the internet |
| Up stander | people who stand up to protect another person |
| Malicious | wanting to hurt someone |
| Crossing the Line | going too far when saying or doing something |
| Snapchat | A social media app that people can use to send pictures and text messages |
| Anonymous | an unknown person |
| Privacy | not being seen by other people |
| Posting | putting something up on the internet for someone to see usually on social media |
| Settings | something that sets up your preference on apps or other sites |
| Digital Media | news online |
| Reputation | how people think of you or someone else |
| Texting | sending word messages instantly to someone |
| Teasing | making fun of someone |
| Empathy | feeling sorry for someone |
| Criminal | a person who has committed a crime |
| Report | to tell a supervisor about someone bullying online |
