Layer Mask A layer mask is something you apply to a given layer to control the transparency of that layer.
Matte Used to combine a foreground image with a background image
Onion Skinning Animating several frames at once
Chroma Keying (Green Screen)A technique by which a block of colour can be replaced. We take out green typically, but any colour can be used.
Feathering Soften the edge of an image by making the edge gradually fade out until it becomes transparent.
Key Framing The process of assigning a specific parameter value to an object at a specific point in time.
Looping A section of a piece of music cut in such a way that can be seamlessly repeated indefinitely by technical means.
