TermDefinition
Database a structured set of data held in a computer, especially one that is accessible in various ways.
Field a part of a record, representing an item of data
Record a number of related items of information that are handled as a unit.
Ascending sort Arranging data from the normal low to high sequence; for example, from A to Z or from 0 to 9.
Descending sort Arranging data from high to low sequence; for example, from Z to A or from 9 to 0.
Query a question mark
Report A formatted and organized presentation of data. Most database management systems include a report writer that enables you to design and generate reports.
