Term | Definition |

Cut | To remove an item from a document and place it on the clipboard. |
Copy | To duplicate a file, folder, or other object that you want to store in another location. |
Paste | To insert items stored in the Clipboard into a document. |
Clipboard | A temporary storage area for text, images, and other objects that are cut or copied from any file and are available for pasting. |
Drag and Drop | To use a pointing device to move or copy a file or folder to a new location. |
Save | To store a file permanently on a disk or to overwrite the copy of a file that is stored on a disk with changes made in a file. |
Save as | Command used to save a file for the first time or to create a new file with a different filename, leaving the original file intact. |
