TermDefinition
Cut Text removed from the document and placed on the Clipboard.
Copy Placed on the clipboard, leaving the original text in place, it is not removed from the document.
Paste Similar to cutting and pasting a text.
Clipboard A temporary storage area for text and graphics that you cut or copy from a document.
Drag and Drop Move selected text by dragging it to a new location using the mouse.
Save Command when you want to save the changes you make to a file, overwriting the file that is stored on a disk.
Save As Command used when you want to leave the original file intact and create a duplicate file with a different filename, file extension, or location.
System Clipboard Holds just one item.
Office Clipboard Holds up to 24 items.
Hyper Link Text or graphic that opens a file, Web page, or other item when clicked. Also called link.
Document Properties User-defined details about a file that describe its contents and origin, including the name of the author, the title of the document, and keywords that you can assign to help organize and search your files.
Shortcut Key See Keyboard Shortcuts.
Blog An informal journal that is created by an individual or a group and available to the public on the Internet; short for Web Log.
Blogger The person who creates and maintains a blog.
Keyboard Shortcuts A combination of keys or a function key that can be pressed to preform a command.
Thesaurus Used to look up synonyms for awkward or repetitive words.
