TermDefinition
data source when used in a form letter, the name of the term given to a file for records to insert in a letter. Can be word document or other sources.
mail merge a process of combining documents and information that personalizes it.
main document the file used in a mail merge that contains the information that doesn't vary from 1 document to the next.
merge field a placeholder in the main document in a mail merge that is replaced with data from the data source when you preform a merge.
template a predesigned file which can be made to a new file.
