mail merge | a process of combining documents and information that personalizes it. |
main document | the file used in a mail merge that contains the information that doesn't vary from 1 document to the next. |
merge field | a placeholder in the main document in a mail merge that is replaced with data from the data source when you preform a merge. |
template | a predesigned file which can be made to a new file. |
