| Active Window | the current window that is in front of all the other windows and is currently being used |
| Boolean Logic | programming in logic |
| Central Processing Unit (CPU) | the part of a computer that interprets and executes instructions |
| Citation | a reference to a source |
| Copyright | the legal protection intellectual property |
| Desktop | the computer |
| Domain (Internet) | suffixes that are at the end of a website that you type in |
| Fair Use | the conditions under which you can use material that is copyrighted by someone else without paying royalties |
| Favorites (bookmarks) | a spot to keep all of your favorite websites |
| File | items that you have saved (you can keep them in a folder) |
| Folder | A spot to keep all of your files |
| Fraud | a deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual |
