Constitution A set of rules outlining how an organisation and its members should operate.
Five Number of key legal duties
Incorporated Associations Community based, not-for-profit organisations, registered in WA by the Department for Commerce under the Associations Incorporation Act 1987.
A breach of duty When a Committee member or officer acts in bad faith or contrary to the rules of the association
Duty of care Term referring to the need of an organisation to ensure that its activities do not cause harm, damage or injury to any member, staff, volunteer or participant or recipient of its services.
