| worksheet | A table of data that is organized into rows and columns. |
| workbook | holds your worksheets |
| range | A group of cells, you can make the same changes to all cell in the range |
| Autofit | to changes the height of a row to fit the font |
| Arithmetic | A symbol that represents a specific action |
| Formula | A calculation that describes the relationship between cells |
| function | A built in formula |
| Autosum | buttton on the formulas tab |
| relative addressing | To change a formula makes when it is moved or copied to other cell with different data |
| Sort | is a way of arraning data in a particualr order |
| Criteria | Are characteristics that define an item, such as age or last name |
| Ascending sort | to rearrange data from lowest to highest, such as A to Z or smallest number to largest |
| descending sort | a sort to rearrange data from the highest to lowest, such as Z to A largest number to smallest |
| hiding | A way to reduce the amount of information displayed |
| filter | finds just the information you need and hides the rest |
| Chart | A visual way to display and compar data |
