Worksheet Is a table of data and preform various calculations columns
Workbook The Excel file that hold your worksheets
Range A group of cells, you can make changes to all cells in range
AutoFit Excel can also automatically change the width of a column ti fit the largest entry or change
Arithmetic Operator Is a symbol that represents a specific action
Formula Is a calculation that describes the relation between cells
Function A built-in formula
AutoSum Button on the formulas tab, Excel automatically know that you want to add the column of numbers or add the row of numbers to the left
Relative Addressing Refers to the change a formula makes when it is moved or copied to other cells with different data
Sort Is a way of arranging data in a particular way
Criteria Are characteristics that define an item, such as age or last name
Ascending Sort IS a sort to rearrange data from lowest to highest, such as A to Z or smallest to largest
Descending Sort Is a sort to rearrange data from highest to lowest, such as Z to A or largest to smallest
Filter Finds just the information you need and hides the rest
Hiding Is another way to reduce the amount of information displayed
Chart Is a visual way to display and compare data
