Why you need to consider the Audience when presenting information? Because the audience are the people you’re targeting when presenting information, so it must appeal to those people. For example advertising a school disco for 14-16 year olds would need a different design to a drink drive campaign.
What Formats are available for Information? Text Tabular (i.e. presented in a table) Graphics (graphs, charts, diagrams, photographs etc) Audio Animation Video
Which Factors affect the choice of Media? The nature and complexity of information. Time to study. The needs of the recipient. Lifespan of information.
Why does Media need to be considered? Because we live in a multimedia world and captures a majority of the audience.
What are the Factors that affect the choice of Format? The particular needs of the user. Complexity of the information. Whether the material is to be presented online
