TermDefinition
Absolute cell reference A cell reference in a formula that does not change when the formula is copied elsewhere
Aligning text This setting determines how the text is displayed horizontally on the page.
Animation effects Movement of items, especially objects, on a slide to create a dynamic presentation.
Back-up a copy of a file or other item of data made in case the original is lost or damaged.
Byte a group of binary digits or bits (usually eight) operated on as a unit.
Body text the main part of a printed text, excluding items such as headings and footnotes.
Bold type In typography, emphasis is the exaggeration of words in a text with a font in a different style from the rest of the text—to emphasize them.
Bookmarks record the address of (a website, file, etc.) to enable quick access in future.
Borders borders are lines added to the edges of a cell or group of cells.The line styles that can be used for borders include single, double, and occasionally broken lines. The thickness of the lines can vary as can the color.
