Computer An electronic device that processes data.
PC Used by one person at a time.
CPU The computers brain.
Bit Smallest unit of info. always either 1 or 0.
Byte The building block for all info. that flows through a computer.
Hardware The collection of physical devices that make up youre computer system.
Input When a user enters information in a computer.
Output When a computer delivers information back to a user.
RAM Stores memeory.
ROM Stores memeory.
Storage device A hard drive, a server, or a disk.
Software A set of instructions that makes it possible for youre computer to perform tasks.
OS Main program that makes youre computer work.
Network A group of computers connected together.
Drive The largest storage area.
Folder A place to save and organize files, such as documents or pictures.
File A collection of data.
Save As You can copy, or duplicate a file by using this.
Shortcut An icon that is to a direct link to a file or folder.
Keyword A word (or words) keyed into a search box that matches the topic you are looking for.
Content Search Look for info. from a list of categories and topics.
Keyword Search Key one or more keywords.
