| Ascending | Sort order arranging text or numbers from A to Z, from smallest to largest, or from earliest to latest |
| Database | A collection of organized data that allows access, retrieval, and use of data |
| Data type | indictes the type of data that can be stored in a field |
| Descending | sort order arranging text or numbres for Z to A, from largest to smallest, or from latest to earilest |
| Field | A single characteristic of data that appears in a table as a column |
| Field name | a name that identifies a field |
| Form | A database view that allows the user to see all fieds for one fields for one record and enter them one a time |
| Primary Key | a field that uniquely identifies a record in a table |
| Query | a question presented in a way that allows the database to process and generate specific dadt from one more tables |
