Gulliver's Travels

Gulliver's Travels Chapter 8

What happens to Gulliver? He escapes from the Blefuscuians and after some difficulty he returns safe to his native country; if Gulliver went back to Lilliput he would be tried for treason
What does Gulliver find? A boat that overturned in the sea
What does Gulliver do with it? He makes it seaworthy [able to sail]
What does Gulliver stock the boat with? enough meat [100 oxen & 300 sheep] and also takes live sheep and cattle with him to survive
What date did Gulliver set sail? Sept. 24, 1701
What does Gulliver meet after he sets sail? An English ship
What was Gulliver's exhibit? His small animals - he had a picture to prove that people of small size really existed [the Lilliputians]
What did the rat do? One of the rats carries away one of the sheep and ate it
What is significant about the inhabitants of this realm? They are much bigger than normal men
Gulliver was NOT allowed to do what? To take back his subjects [people] with him
