spam junk mail that is sent in bulk to peoples email accounts.
firewall a hardware or software that protects a computer or network from intruders
home page the first web page you see when your browser opens.
drill down you click a link that opens a new web page within a site.
site map an index of all the main pages in a site that you may use to jump straight to a page without down drilling.
bookmark a shortcut stored in your browser that takes you directly to a webpage.
favorites If theres a webpage you use a lot you can add it to your favorites and its like a shortcut from your browser.
history the list of pages you've visited within the last few days.
print preview allows you to view a page so you can see how it looks before you print it.
search engine a special kind of website that lets you search for other web pages using one key word.
boolean search a search that uses keywords and special symbols to find the exact information you want.
