internet service provider an internet service provider is a company that sells you access to the internet.
web browser a web browser is a software program that lets you surf the web and interact with web sites
electronic mail electronic mail is another way that you can share information using the internet.
netiquette netiquette refers to the good manners one uses in electronic communications
spam spam us like junk mail.
firewall a firewall is hardware or software that protects a computer or network from intruders.
home page the home page for your browser usually allows you to do one or more of the following
drill down when you explore a web site you usually start with the home page and drill down to find
site map an index of all the main pages in the site that you may use to jump straight to a page without drilling down
bookmark a Short cut stored in your browser that takes you directly to a web page
favorites book marks are called favorites
history a record of the web sites you visited
print preview print preview allows you to see what it is before you print
search engine a special kind of web that lets you search for other web pages
Boolean search a search that uses a key word and symbols
