Hue The name of a colour in the colour spectrum
Primary Hues Hues that you can not make; the main colours
Secondary Hues Made by mixing two Primary Hues
Intermediate Hues Made by mixing the Primary Hues with the Secondary
Analogous Colours that sit side by side on the wheel and share a common hue
Complementary The colours opposite each other on the colour wheel
Split-Complementary The colour and the colours on each side of the colours complement
Warm Colours Colours that suggest warmth, and move toward the viewer
Cool Colours Colours that suggest coldness, receeding from the veiwer
Monochromatic A colour scheme that uses only one hue and its tints and shades for effect
Colour Triads Three colours spaced equal distance apart on the Colour Wheel
Tint The light value of the hue(made by adding white)
Shade The dark value of a hue(made by adding black)
Intensity The brightness or dullness of a hue
