JC Business Consumer

Customer Anybody who buys goods and services
Consumer A person who buys goods and services for personal use from someone whose business is to sell goods and services
Trader Buys goods to sell them
Brand name Unique name given to a product to distinguish it from other products
Contract Legally binding agreement
Guarantee written undertaking that the manufacturer will repair or replace an item within a period of time after the purchase date
Receipt Proof of purchase
Bar Code Series of lines or numbers on a product read by a computer scanner
Trade Association Organisation representing all or most of the producers or sellers in a particular industry
Credit note Written document giving the customer permission to select goods in that shop up to the value stated on it
