drag to select text by positioning the i-beam pointer to the let of the first character of the text

format to change the apperance or look of text
full screen reading view a way of veiwing a documenton screen in form that is easy to read; the ribbon is replaced by a small bar called a toolbar that contains only a few relevant commands
insertion point a blinking vertical line that shows where text will appear when you begin typing
landscape orientation a page or worksheet rotated so it is wider than it is long
outline veiw a way of veiwing a document on the screen that displays headings and text in outlone form so you can see the structure of your document and reorganize easily; headers and footers, page boundariers , graphics
paste to copy an item stored on the clipboard or the office clipboard to a location in a file.
