hypothalamus(slower) located at the base of the brain, helps to release growth hormones and stimulate the pituitary gland
pituitary gland(growth) pea sizes tissue located near the hypothalamus in the brain, stimulates hormones that help w/ contractions for child birth and milk production, stimulate thyroid gland, stimulates adrenal gland, growth hormone
pineal gland(sleep) produces melatonin to help w/ the sleepwake cycle, only produced in low light enviroments to help you get sleepy, pine-cone shaped mass in the brain
