TermDefinition
Character Is any single letter, number, symbol, or punctuation mark.
Font A set of characters that have the same design.
Point Size Height of characters. 1/72 of an inch.
Monospaced All characters take up the same ammount of horizontal space.
Porportional The horizontal spacing of words varies.
Serif Has small lines at the begining and end of characters.
Sans serif Words that dont have small lines on its characters
Text effects Addsa distinctive appearance to selected text, such as outline, shadow, glow, and reflection.
Paragraph effects The formats are applied instantly to all text in the paragraph where the insertion point is located, whether or not that text is selected.
Character styles Applied to individual characters.
