TermDefinition
character Is any single letter, number, symbol, or punctuation mark.
character styles A set of characters that have the same design.
font Height of characters. 1/72 of an inch.
monospace All characters take up the same ammount of horizontal space.
paragraph styles The horizontal spacing of words varies.
point size Has small lines at the begining and end of characters.
proportional space Words that dont have small lines on its characters
sans serif Addsa distinctive appearance to selected text, such as outline, shadow, glow, and reflection.
serif The formats are applied instantly to all text in the paragraph where the insertion point is located, whether or not that text is selected
