Rhetorical Terms for AP Language
| Term | Definition/Example |

| Bandwagon | a particular activity or cause that has suddenly become fashionable or popular. Ex: Nobody respected the Miami Heat then they won two championships now people respect them and root for them. |
| Circular Reasoning | providing evidence for the validity of an assertion, which assumes the validity of the assertion. Ex"A is true because A is true" or "A is true because B is true, and B is true because A is true". |
| False Analogy | is where an invalid conclusion is drawn from a comparison between two apparently similar situations Ex:Water is liquid and is good for you to drink. Engine oil is also liquid and must therefore be good to drink. |
