hardware. hardware is any phisical part of a computer
hardware is made up of (a) the cpu and memory (b) input devices(c) output devices(d) storage
main memory stores programmes and data for processing
cpu Central Processing Unit- The brain of the computer
Input Devices These read incoming data. e.g. Keyboard, Scanner, Bar Code Reader
output devices these accept information from the cpu and display results from the user eg printer moniter
storage devices these keep ibnformation and instructions in the computer so they can be ussed again eg. floppy disk hard drive cd
mouse: used to select text insert text or an icon by clicking and dragging
