| Output | when the computer delivers information back to the user. |
| random-access memory (RAM) | one of the three main places it stores its data in. |
| read-only memory (ROM) | another place it stores its data in. |
| storage device | a long term memory , where you keep memories of important events. |
| Software | a set of instructions that makes it possible for your computer preform tasks. |
| Operating system (OS) | it is the main program thet makes yur computer work. |
| network | is a group of computers connected to together |
| drive | the largest storage area |
| folder | a place to store and orangize files such as documents or pictures |
| file | a collection of data |
| save as | you can duplicate or copy a file by using this method |
| shortcut | an icon that is a direct link to a file or folder |
| hardware | a colection of phyical dievices that make your computer system |
| keyword | a word keyed into a search box that matches the topic you are looking for |
| Content Search | look for information from a list of categories and topics |
| Keyword Search | key one or more keywords and include all the topics on which you searched. |
