Color Terms
| Question | Answer |

| What are the primary colors? | Red, Blue, Yellow |
| What are the secondary colors? | Violet, Green, Orange |
| What are the tertiary colors? | When you mix equal parts of one primary and secondary colors. |
| What colors make up the color wheel? | Saturated colors because there is no black or white in them. |
| What are Tints and Shades? | Both made of saturated colors but a tint is mixed with a pure white color and a shade is mixed with a pure black color. |
| Which colors make up warm & cool colors? | Red, Orange, and Yellow are warm colors. Blue, Green, and Violet are cool colors. |
| Which colors make up Neutral colors? | Black, Grey, White, Brown, and Tan |
| What are the color harmonies? | Monochromatic, analogous, complementary, triadic, split complementary,and neutral. |
| What is a monochromatic color harmony? | Tints and shades of only one color. |
| What is an analogous color harmony? | Three or more colors next to each other on the color wheel. |
| What are Complementary color harmonies? | Two colors directly across from each other on the color wheel. |
| What are triadic color harmonies? | Three colors located in equal distance of each other. |
| What are split complementary harmonies? | Any color and the two colors located next to that colors complement. |
| What are neutral color harmonies? | Any combination of Greys, blacks, browns, tans, and whites. |
