Color terms

What is a monochromatic color scheme? tints and shades of one color.
What is an analogous color scheme? colors who are neighbors on the color wheel.
What is an accented neutral color scheme? mostly neutrals with a hint of color.
What color scheme is 2 colors opposite on the color wheel. complementary color scheme
How many colors in a split complemetary color scheme? 3 colors.
what are the colors in a neutral harmony? whites,blacks,greys,browns and tans.
What is a triadic harmony? 3 colors that are located within equal distance
what are warm colors? red,orange and yellow.
What are cool colors? blue,purple and green.
what is a tint? is a saturated color mixed with pure white.
whats a shade? a saturated color mixed with pure black.
white has...? the ability to reflect another color.
black has..? the ability to absorb colors.
what is hue? means the color itself.
what are primary colors? the basic colors: red,blue,yellow.
What are secondary colors? violet,green,orange.
what are tertiary colors? when you mix equal parts of one primary and secondary.
