enriched | nutrients removed during processing, added back in later |
fortified | nutrients added that weren't originally in the product |
supplement | nutrients were added to more than 50% |
USRDA | united states recommended daily allowance |
RDA | recomended daily allowance |
calorie | the amount of energy it takes to heat 1 gm of water. |
Calorie | the measure of the amount of energy in food |
glycemid index | measuer of how quickly a food raises the blood sugar levels |
