| web browser | a software program that lets you surf the web and interact with web sites |
| electronic mail (e-mail) | a communication sent form one person to another, or to many people, over the internet |
| netiquette | the good manners one use in electonic communications |
| spam | unwanted e-mail sent by an unknown person or business |
| firewall | hardware or software that protects a computer or network form intruders |
| home page | the first web page you see when you open you browser |
| drill down | to move form general information to more detailed information by exploring a series of folders, drop-fown menus, or web pages |
