Clean Installation Easiest deployment of WIN 7 with a partition that you are willing to reformat. Create a WIN 7 install disk & create a blank partitions for the OS.
Dual Boot Uses 2 independent OS installs.
Multilingual User Interface (MUI) Set of lang-specific files that let you change lang.
Side-By-Side Migration Migration with 2 computers. Uses Windows Easy Transfer with the computers connected via a cable.
Windows Preinstallation Environment (PE) Provides basic access to computer's network & disk drives, making it possible to do an in-place or network install.
Windows Recovery Environment (RE) If the computer crashes or fails to start, WIN 7 uses built in troubleshooting utilities or third party or custom diagnostic tools.
Wipe-And-Load Migration Migration with 1 computer. Save info on external drive, perform clean install and wipe out all data on computer. Then transfer data back to computer once install is complete.
