Here is a list of terms from units on Software and Spreadsheets

Software Electronic instructions that let electronics work and perform tasks.
Operating system Software that lets different hardware work together and perform tasks.
File Data stored as an organized series of bits.
Application Software that runs within an operating system and performs programmed tasks.
Document A file created by and opened with an application.
Suite A group of applications that work together.
Spreadsheet An application that calculates and relates numbers.
Cell The smallest unit of a spreadsheet, which is found at the intersection of a row and column.
Row A horizontal line of cells.
Column A vertical line of cells.
Address The location of a specific cell, indicated by a letter for a column and a number for a row.
Data Numbers, letters, or words that provided information about something.
Numeric Anything that is a number (adjective).
Label Text in a spreadsheet that gives meaning to numbers.
Formula Mathematical calculations entered into a spreadsheet by the user.
Function Long and complex mathematical calculations available within a spreadsheet application.
Value The result of a calculation in a spreadsheet.
