Bus Topology networks require that all computers or noces connect to the same cable
Star Topology networks connect network nodes through a central device, usually a hub or a switch
Ring Topology do not have a central connection point, cable connects one node to another, until a logical "ring" is formed
Hybrid Network Larger than the bus,star, and ring connect devices with multiple paths so that redundancies exist. allows expansion even in enterprise networks
