TermDefinition
Flash Document When you create flash content with .fla.
Tools Panel A panel in which all the flash tools can be found.
Panels Additional tool for creating and modifying.
property inspector set or change the most commonly used items.
Movie A flash published document.
Stage Where content is placed.
Timeline Controls content over time.
Frame A still image in the timeline.
Keyframe A frame where a new symbol instance appears. Can also be where define a change in a object property.
Property keyframe A frame that defines a change in an objects property in animation.
Layers Where you organize the varies content element in the document.
Scene A group of objects and their properties are similar.
Edit bar Indicates the current scene.
Symbol A graphic, button, or movie clip that is created by you for reuse.
Instance A copy of a symbol on the stage.
Library A store and organize symbols.
Motions Tweening An automated way to create smooth movement in frames over time.
Classic Tweening More complex then motion tweens.
Shape Tweening An automated way to create shapes over time.
Sounds A music loop or sound effect in the movie.
Actions An actionscript statements to control an object.
XFL file An exchange format for flash.
XMP- Extensible Metadata Platform It allows to put author an other things.
