What are the MAJOR pathologies involved in Bleeding Disorder? 1. Deficient qi fails to hold blood in vessels, 2. Heat (excess or empty) damages the blood-connecting channels causing the blood to become reckless, 3. Blood Stasis obstructs the blood-connecting channels preventing new blood from entering the channel
When diagnosing a bleeding disorder, what are the crucial points to consider? 1. Location, 2. Site (which organ is involved), 3. Nature (hot/cold, def/excess, acute/chronic, thick/watery, volume, color, agg/ameliorate)
What is the general treatment principle for bleeding disorders? Treat the underlying cause (fire, qi, blood) and stop bleeding
