Scissors grasp - definition between thumb and side of curled index finger
Inferior pincer grasp - definition between ventral surfaces of thumb and index finger, distal thumb jt. ext. -- beginning of thumb opposition
Inferior scissors grasp - definition raking object into palm with adducted totally flexed thumb and all flexed fingers
Pincer grasp - age 10 months
Pincer grasp - definition between distal pads of thumb and index finger, distal thumb joint slight flexed, thumb opposed
Fine pincer grasp - age 12 months
Palmer grasp - age 5 months
Palmer grasp - definition fingers on top surface of object, press it into center of palm with thumb abducted
Radial-palmer grasp - age 6 months
Radial-palmer grasp - definition fingers on far side of object press it against opposed thumb and radial side of palm
Radial-digital grasp - age 8 months
