Guides | Nonprinting vertical and horizontal lines you can use to align objects on a slide. |
Gridlines | A regular grid of dotted lines displayed on a slide to help arrange objects. |

Notes Pane | area where notes can be entered |
Tables | grids comprised of horizontal rows and vertical columns into which a user enters data and helps to organize information |
Entrance Effect | animation which dictates how an object appears on the slide |
Exit Effect | animation which dictates how an object is removed from the slide |
Emphasis Effect | animation which occurs while the object is on the slide to emphasize or draw attention to it |
Motion Path | animation which moves an object within a slide along a predetermined path |
