INTERNET Es un conjunto de miles de REDES de computadores interconectados entre si.
REDES Es un conjunto de equipos informáticos y software conectados entre sí por medio de dispositivos físicos.
www Es un sistema de distribución de información basado en hipertexto o hipermedios enlazados y accesibles a través de Internet.
Correo Electrónico Es un servicio de red que permite a los usuarios enviar y recibir mensajes y archivos rápidamente (también denominados mensajes electrónicos) mediante sistemas de comunicación electrónicos.
Redes sociales Son estructuras sociales compuestas de grupos de personas, las cuales están conectadas por uno o varios tipos de relaciones, tales como amistad, parentesco, intereses comunes o que comparten conocimientos, e ideas de libre expresión.
Chat Es un sistema mediante el cual dos o más personas pueden comunicarse a través de Internet, en forma simultánea, es decir en tiempo real, por medio de texto, audio y hasta video, sin importar si se encuentra en diferentes ciudades o países.
Blog Es un sitio web periódicamente actualizado que recopila cronológicamente textos o artículos de uno o varios autores, apareciendo primero el más reciente, donde el autor conserva siempre la libertad de dejar publicado lo que crea pertinente.
Grupo de noticias El sistema es técnicamente distinto, pero funciona de forma similar a los grupos de discusión de la World Wide Web. Como ésta misma, como el correo electrónico y la mensajería instantánea, los grupos de noticias funcionan a través de internet.
Wikis Es un sitio web cuyas páginas pueden ser editadas por múltiples voluntarios a través del navegador web. Los usuarios pueden crear, modificar o borrar un mismo texto que comparten.
