inferior away from the head or toward the lower part of the body
sagital plane seperates the body into right and left

posterior toward the back of the body

coronal plane seperates the body into anterior and posterior
distal father away from the body
transverse plane divides body into superior and inferior
supine lying on the back
superior toward the head or above shoulders
anterior toward the front of the body
