What is the equation for Stroke Volume? Stroke Volume = EDV - ESV
What do EDV and ESV stand for? End-Diastolic-Volume & End-Systolic-Volume
What is EDV determined by? "Preload" - Ventricularfilling time (HR), Venous return
What is ESV determined by? FORCE of Contraction - Health of muscle, Intrinsic STRETCH of Ventricle (EDV), ANS (+/- circulating Hormones)
What is Stroke Volume? the amount of Blood OUT of the LEFT Ventricle every contraction
What is the Ejection Fraction? SV/EDV - normally between 50-75%
