Intro Color Terms

QuestionAnswer
Hue The name given to a color
Color Wheel Showa how colors relate to each other
Intensity The brightness or dullness of a color
Primary colors Three basic colors that are used to create new colors/Red,Blue,Yellow
Secondary colors Three colors that are achieved from equal parts of primary colors/Violet,Green,Orange
Intermediate or Tertiary Colors When you mix parts of one primary and one secondary color
Tint A value lighter than that on the color wheel/add white
Shade A value darker than that on a clor wheel
